Come join in the fun! The GREEN PARTY OF TEXAS Annual State meeting is coming to Marfa, Texas. Marfa is well known for the
Marfa lights.
Marfa is also well known as the town with the highest ranking elected Green in Texas,
Mayor David Lanman. Please click here to find out more about Marfa from the
Chamber of Commerce. We will witness in-person issues currently facing the region's towns to help factor needed change for the region into our up-coming strategy.
Please register for the meeting.
Meeting Hall: AmVets Hall Pst 65 located two blocks south of US90 on US67 at 303 South Highland Street.
Transportation: Each local county is currently making arrangements. Houston will be taking two minivans and other counties are carpooling as well. The Amtrak train stops in Alpine, Texas 44 km (26 mi) by road east of Marfa.
Meals: We are contacting local catering services in Marfa. We will update this website once we have the details. Please plan to bring camping supplies, reusable plates, towels and utensils so we can keep the trash cans empty!
