I was planning on riding to Marfa on Friday morning with some people from Houston, but I just found out about an AMAZING chance to see the Old Crow Medicine Show at the Parish Room in Austin on Thursday night. They're my new favorite band, and if you dont know, you should chek it out.

In order to go, I would have to drive up to Austin after class on Thurs, see the show, drive back that night, and wake up Friday morning for the trek to Marfa. Whew. My only hope is to get a ride out of Austin to the convention, so that I don't have to drive back to H-town on Thurdsay night.

Is there any chance that I could catch a ride from some friendly Austin Green? I make great car conversation (or if you prefer, I can be quiet as a mouse :) and would be willing to put money towards gasoline.
